Sermon notes
HOMOTHUMADON: is the greek word for "one accord". It implies a harmony where all of the different parts are singing the same song to complete it. This sermon is about unity in the body of Christ and is taken from John 17. It was preached on August 17, 2008
THE NOT-SO-PRODIGAL: Luke 15 tells the story of the lost coin, sheep, and son. This sermon is an adaptation of a sermon I heard from David Fleer. It puts us in the uncomfortable sandles of the older brother in this story.
BEING THE GRACE OF GOD: Luke and Acts tell us a glorious tale about how Jesus lived, died, and created a new covenant. It's in the new covenant that we a simple heartfelt response for a short time after the start of the church. It is that response that I want to encourage us to have today. (Acts 2:42ff describes this attitude). The notes that you'll receive here are simply a brainstorm and are not complete.
